Description of the Spike
Upper: The upper part of the shoe consists of a very light synthetic material. It has some give to allow for easy flexion of the foot, but combined with the thin spike place it holds to the foot in place will ease.
Midsole: As this is a sprint spike, the midsole is also non-existent. This helps make the shoe as light as possible but will make it uncomfortable running events over 800m.
Outsole: The spike plate has 6 spikes which, like most running shoes, are removable. It’s reinforced with carbon tubes, and the nanoplate is the thinnest sprint spike available on the market. Bringing the foot much closer to the floor aids in making it feel like a more natural footstrike for the athlete.

These are a great pair of all-round sprint spikes. If you’re a 60m to 100m sprinter of a 400m hurdler, you’ll find these spikes more than happy with this purchase. The thin spike plate makes it extremely comfortable running around bends at pace. If you’re starting out with track and field you may want to look at some of the cheaper spikes as this particular pair are over £100. But if you have a high budget, you will not be disappointed.
