TrackSpikes (trackspikes.co.uk) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit the site, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

TrackSpikes is a content site. We don’t run accounts, comments or a shop, and we don’t ask you for personal information. We don’t set our own tracking or advertising cookies.

Like every website, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when pages are requested, such as your IP address, browser type and the page you visited. These server logs are used to keep the site secure and working, and are kept only as long as the host needs them.

Third-party services

Some parts of our pages are loaded from other companies, which receive your IP address when your browser requests them:

  • Google Fonts serves the fonts the site uses.
  • Image hosts such as Unsplash and retailers serve some photos and product images.

Each of these companies handles data under its own privacy policy.

Many links to retailers on TrackSpikes are affiliate links. When you click one, you leave our site, and the retailer or the affiliate network that manages its programme (for example Amazon Associates, Awin or Webgains) may set a cookie in your browser. That cookie lets them credit us with a commission if you buy something. It doesn’t change the price you pay.

Your rights

We may update this policy, for example if we add new features or services. The date at the top of the page shows when it last changed.
