If you want as much cushioning as possible, the Bondi is the shoe for you. In our running shoes for bad knees guide we highlighted its huge stack of foam between your heel and the ground: you can stay out on the roads for as long as you like with very little impact through your legs.
The shoe adapts to your foot as you run, and mild midsole support helps runners with slight overpronation. Because the sole is so thick it’s relatively stiff, which helps the foot roll naturally from one stride to the next. The Bondi 9 is the current model.
Who it’s for: runners with bad knees, heavier runners and anyone wanting maximum protection.
