The Uplift HJ 2 surprised us. Despite being the most affordable spike in our high jump spikes guide, it delivers real high jump performance. Saucony’s ISOFIT system adapts to different foot shapes while staying secure through the approach, and the FLEXFILM upper is more durable than the price suggests.
A midfoot cross strap gives excellent lockdown, and the Pebax plate offers good energy return, though not quite at the level of the premium options.
Who it’s for: high jumpers on a budget, and juniors moving into their first specialist spike.
